Duxbury Beach House

This new, energy efficient home was designed to meet or exceed strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and earned Energy Star for Homes Certification upon completion. The new 2 1/2 story cottage replaces an older one story cottage that occupied the site. The existing footprint had to be reused in order to conform to zoning regulations.

The first floor features open living, dining and kitchen area. The second floor consists of the master bedroom and bathroom area. The third floor contains two guest bedrooms and a guest bathroom. All three floors are filled with natural light and offer views out to both Duxbury Bay and the ocean.
